Email Marketing ROI Methodology

Our calculator follows the standard email marketing funnel to determine your return on investment.

1. The Funnel Logic

  • Total Opens: Calculated as Emails Sent × Open Rate. This represents the top of your active funnel.
  • Total Clicks: Calculated as Total Opens × CTR. This measures the engagement of your content.
  • Total Conversions: Calculated as Total Clicks × Conversion Rate. This is the number of successful actions (purchases, signups).

2. Financial Metrics

  • Total Revenue: Calculated as Total Conversions × Average Order Value (AOV).
  • Net Profit: The difference between Total Revenue and Campaign Cost.
  • ROI: The final efficiency metric, calculated as (Net Profit / Campaign Cost) × 100.
