Methodology

The TDEE Calculator uses the Mifflin-St Jeor Equation to estimate your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR), which is then multiplied by an activity factor to determine your Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE).

Formula:
BMR=(10×weight)+(6.25×height)(5×age)+sBMR = (10 \times weight) + (6.25 \times height) - (5 \times age) + s
(where ss is +5 for men and -161 for women).

Macro distributions are calculated based on your selected goal to optimize for fat loss, maintenance, or muscle gain.
